Photo Day

Wow, so today is definetely hectic. Were getting shots of the students for this english book thing Mr.D worked on:) Yepp, were all excited! & today will be my last day writing in this thing. Yesh that shall be sad. Haha, thats alright I could start up my own sometime soon. If I even know how to work it;) Well anyways just wanted to write something in here for the last time in a long time :(

Random

Wow, so manythings I'm looking forward to. Saint Annes in ten days, birthdays & today is the last time for blogging:) (not that I'll be happy;)) Oh yeah and Lacrosse playoffs on Monday:):)

I'm looking forward to reading Lily's Crossing for the English project, it sounds great! I'm really looking forward for summer.

Well thats all for now, I have to head back to school.

Mirror,Mirror

This book is about a girl who thinks of herself as 'FAT'. She does all she can to get skinnier, in other words doesn't eat. She goes anerexic, faints and won't even have a sip of water. She leads an unhealthy life for herself. I don't know what will happen next but I'm sure excited for it:)

Note: Today we played LaCrosse against G.P. Vanier although we lost and probably won't go to playoffs, we still played an amazing game!

Random Journal-ing

Today was an awesome day. TEDDY BEAR PICNIC DAY, was cool too. We won second;so happy=)

I was glad I figured the answer out for the site,but they had foolish stuff written down so it kindof gave it away. I surely learned a lesson about believing what you see posted up on the net.

After school we played lacrosse against SHJH, we won 16-13=) Boys played after us, but unfortunately lost=( I think we all need to thank our goalie,good game!

Overall today was amazing and I still have the 4 day weekend to look forward to, I can't wait!

Dumb and Dumber

Prediction:

From the photo on the cover, this book seems funny. I have read the back of the book and I know so far its going to be about two boys(Harry Dunne & Lloyd Christmas) and their very dumb!

Nothing can be too dumb for these two. Infact, for these two everyday is a no-brainer. They got kidnapped, caught by cops but no one can ever get in the way of their wackiest road trip ever!

This book sounds like its going to be awesome! All I can do now is read on and 'ENJOY'!

March Break

Wow, this was the worst break ever! The first day after the break I was at the hospital because I was seriously ill. I had appointments during the break and other then going to the doctor I was in bed.

The only good part about this break was that my cousin came to visit from Toronto and that I had my friends and family right by my side. I can't beleive its over but then again it doesn't matter, im still sick:( It's okay with me to come back to school I think its time I get out.

I went skating but then got very sick and went back home,but the second time it was kind of better! I hope your break was much better than mine:)

From Peices To Weight

I am still reading The Perfect Man too but for this time I decided to write about From Peices To Weight. This book is about how rapper "Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson" survived with no good health, money or even parents to turn to.

I can't really say I could relate to his life because that would be a lie. I have so many things in my childhood that are way better than what he just dreamed of having. I mean I have a family now but his dad left him and his 16 year old mother when he was born.

Living in a house with around 10 poeple in it (none his age) was pretty tough for this guy. He had to always be quiet so they could relax. Even if he wanted to go outside and meet kids his age there were always street fights or people getting shot which obviously left his family worried.

There will be more to come later on. I would probably write about The Perfect Man before I write about this again but there will be more on here soon.

The Perfect Man

I am currently reading two books, The Perfect Man and From Peices To Weight so I will probably be writing about both on here. I thought of reading this book because I saw the movie. I feel that the book has much more details than the movie. I'm liking it better.

Holly(Hilary Duff) is the main character. She is definetely unique from the kids around her. She has her own style and follows her own path in life. She knows how to do stuff on her own mostly because her mom can't even handle herself.

Zoe is her younger sister. She is like every typical little sister annoying, cute and fun to have around. Holly and Zoe try to help their mom but Zoe is all brains. Zoe has always wanted to win a Spelling Bee but they always move around from her moms boy problems so she never gets around to it, but she is spelling crazy!

Taylor is Holly's best friends at the school she was transferred to. Taylor helps Holly around town and shows her to people such as her uncle who is a great cook(also her mom's mystery man). Taylor tells Holly who is totally wacko and who is normal around the school.

Jean (mom) is a depressed mother with many boy issues. Once one is gone she moves on to another town and new guy searches immediatly start on the internet. She just doesn't know how to get over it on her own. Holly also thinks that her mom would have the best relationship if she met the guy first. Jean goes throught many problems which her daughters suffer from more (moving etc.)

What will happen next?
I have to keep reading, maybe its better than the movie:)

My Opinion

I thought this book was good and not so good at the same time. This is because at times I felt like the book was just going on so fast, then at other times I felt it was going by slowly. (or it could just be you were just reading it fast or taking too many breaks).

I also liked this book because I felt that no matter who it was they could always somehow make a connection with what Devon was doing/saying.

I felt that understanding this book was easy and relating to it sometimes was hard but then it was more easy than hard.

*These are just some 'notes' of what happened, point form.

- Devon wakes up in a pile of clothes on the floor which he has never done before.

- Devon talks to Tanya and she tells him that she would turn Ben in if she were Devon.

-Devon goes to talk to Ben, but Ben's mom tells him that Ben moved to Texas with his Dad.

- Devon gets back in time before his dad gets home, his dad takes him to the headmaster with his mom because the headmaster called and told them to go there quickly.

- The headmaster shows the Brown's that it wasn't their son who sprayed all over the school, they found out because Ben send them a letter be fore he moved to Texas to encounsel with his dad.

I sprayed the school and it was the
most fun I ever had in my life.

-They explained to the Brown's where Ben was now and that he sprayed it to show people the pain he felt when he was getting pushed around at the academy.

Not As Crazy As I Seem- George Harrar

I think this is a great novel. Devon does seem to have trouble trying to have everything "perfect". I think this is happening because of a problem in his life. I really want to find out why he is acting this way. I didn't like the fact he was talking to a Psychopath. I think his parents should stop taking him to Psychiatrists and try to get to know him a bit more. He really seems to need the time with his parents.
